I am delighted to welcome you all to S.D.W.G Govt. College Beetan which came into being on 23/08/2004  and since inception it has added many feathers to its cap especially when NAAC accredited it with grade ‘B’ in December 2016.Initially our institution offered only Arts stream but now it also offers Commerce and Science streams along with PG Course in English from the academic session 2018-19.The institution is well-equipped with modern hi-tech class-rooms , Wi-Fi campus ,Modern Library, well equipped Science labs, hi-tech English language lab and a sprawling campus spread over 50 kanals..Our emphasis is to provide quality education matching global standards and ensures an analytical and scientific temperament with healthy moral and social values, so that when the students leave the portals of this college they are ready to contribute to the development of the Nation .The college has an Internal Quality Assurance cell to assess and improve the quality of education. Its faculty is highly dedicated and committed to provide quality education. Positive suggestions of parents/guardians, old students are highly solicited to improve academic atmosphere. I welcome the students to the college for the upcoming session 2018-19.

S.D.W.G.Government Degree College Beetan was established on 23rd August, 2004 when the Government of Himachal Pradesh took it over from the private management of Sant Baba Dhangu Wale Ji. Ever since its inception in 1997, it has been imparting quality education to the students of the area. The College has been accredited by the NAAC with grade “B” in December 2016.  It possesses a sprawling campus and is surrounded by lush green fields. The scenic setting provides an ideal atmosphere for pursuing higher studies. It is located at about 28 kms from district headquarters, Una and is well connected by roads from all sides. The college is affiliated to H.P.University, Shimla and boasts of a newly constructed three-storeyed state-of –the- art building which can house more than 3000 students.  Presently we are offering Arts, Commerce and Science courses at U/G level along with PG in English. The college strives to play a vital role in transforming the rural society surrounding Haroli Tehsil of Una District by providing quality education to its students matching global standards.
